- On the eve of this year's Movement festival in Detroit, Smart Bar will throw a party at The Majestic Theater, featuring Ellen Allien and a live performance by Stimming. Armed with consistently solid programming and a Funktion 1 sound system, Smart Bar is one of Chicago's finest house and techno haunts, so it only seems fitting for them to make an appearance in Detroit. In addition to the night's headliners, RA podcast alumnus Patrick Russell will man the decks, as well as Aran Daniels and Smart Bar resident Nate Manic.
