  • Coldcut, Phoenix, Robyn, Caribou, Matias Aguayo, Michael Mayer and Pantha Du Prince are among those performing at c/o pop 2010. Although the premise remains much the same—six days worth of events in multiple Cologne locations and a diverse musical agenda—there has been a couple of significant changes for the c/o pop festival in 2010. Staatenhaus am Rheinpark is the new central location for the event (a move to the other side of the Rhine) while you may also notice that c/o pop is taking place a full two months earlier than its regular August date. This Wednesday, June 23rd sees locals Klee and Cologne Tape getting the festivities under way, performing at Opernterrassen and Werft respectively. Day two highlights include French quartet Phoenix playing on the roof of a carpark, UK duo Coldcut presenting their Energy Union A/V film, Matias Aguayo and his Comeme imprint setting up for a showcase, and a screening of Villalobos—the Romuald Karmakar documentary based on the Chilean superstar. Robyn, Uffie, To Rococo Rot, Pantha Du Prince, Gui Boratto and Christian Prommer will be among those performing on the Friday, while Saturday is no less action packed as Die Vogel, Ada, Edu K and Daniel Wang all take the decks/stage. Details of the traditional outdoor event at Pollerwiesen is yet to be announced due to potential clashes with the World Cup, but what isn't in doubt is Bugge Wesseltoft & Henrik Schwarz duo's closing show at Kölner Philharmonie on Monday, June 28th. For a detailed breakdown of all the music, exhibitions, films and markets taking place over the six days, we suggest heading over to the official c/o pop site via the link below.
