  • The Unsound festival has announced a new batch of acts set to perform this fall in Poland, with performances ranging from cosmic disco to avant-garde film soundtracks. The clubbier end of the bill includes Norwegian disco don Lindstrom and young Detroit artist Kyle Hall. Plenty of post-dubstep acts will perform as well, with artists like Joy Orbison, James Blake and Mount Kimbie joining Shackleton on the program, while TRG and FaltyDL debut their new collaborative live performance. Modern Love duo Demdike Stare will help push the festival's theme of "fear and unease," playing live with visuals collected from various European horror films. Also on the cinema-related tip, Ben Frost will team up with Daníel Bjarnasson and a 28-piece ensemble to perform a new composition inspired by Solaris, a '70s sci-fi film directed by Andrei Tarkovsky. Other experimental acts include Oneohtrix Point Never, Tim Hecker and Emeralds. All of these artists join a bill that already includes Actress, Oni Ayhun and The Moritz Von Oswald Trio.
