Matthew Herbert's One Club hits the road

- After his Sonar shows this past weekend, Matthew Herbert's one man band will stop in Germany, Belgium and the UK in the coming weeks.
- Matthew Herbert will take his One Club project on tour this summer, with a number of dates scheduled across Europe. As has been widely reported in recent months, the eccentric UK producer is currently in the midst of releasing a trio of records, the first of which--One One, recorded by Herbert with the help of no other musicians or samples--was released this April past. A further two LPs will follow, the first of which, One Club, was put together using solely found-sounds gathered at Frankfurt's Robert Jonson venue. Naturally then, the club will be one of Herbert's stops on the current tour after performances at both Sonar La Coruna and Barcelona this past weekend. The Robert Jonson date is July 8th, and will be followed the following day by a show at Belgium's Les Ardentes festival. Those at London's Field Day in Victoria Park on July 31st will be the next to experience the set that reportedly involves a glowing tent, while the Big Chill Festival rounds out the tour for Herbert on August 5th, although it's said more dates may be added in the coming weeks. One Pig, which traces the life of a single pig from birth to the slaughterhouse, will complete the trilogy later this year.
