- Armed with a fresh lineup, Andy Butler's disco outfit is ready to tour Europe and North America.
- Indie disco favorites Hercules & Love Affair are set to embark on a two month tour across Europe and North America. The trek begins this Friday night in Kent, England at the Lounge on the Farm festival. From there, the DFA collective will play a handful of club dates in Spain and Germany and appear at festivals like Melt!, Garden Festival and Lovebox in the UK. They'll touch down in Toronto on July 26th, and will spend the rest of the tour playing clubs in North America, except for one odd date in Moscow on the 31st. The last time Hercules & Love Affair went on tour, it was with a robust nine-piece lineup. This time around, the ensemble has been slimmed down a bit, with just four musicians joining frontman Andy Butler. The tour will anticipate the group's forthcoming album, which was produced by techno artist Patrick Pulsinger and is scheduled for release this fall.
