- UK-based artist Matt Cutler has a new label in the works.
Matt Cutler, AKA Lone is ready to kick off his own record label, Magic Wire Recordings.
Since his debut in 2007, Cutler has made a name for himself through his unique brand of sunny, hip-hop influenced beats. His hard-to-pin-down style quickly caught the ear of Darren Cunningham, AKA Actress, who released Cutler's latest album, Ecstasy and Friends on his Werk Discs label last year. The first release on Magic Wire will be a 10-inch by Cutler called Pineapple Crush / Angel Brain, and has already gotten support by DJs like Joy Orbison, Kode9 and TRG.
