Sounds Like turns 1 with Brett Johnson

- The local stalwart will headline this weekend's party at a secret Dallas location.
- Dallas' monthly Sounds Like night will mark its first anniversary with a birthday bash featuring hometown talent Brett Johnson. The DJ and producer's career spans back to early releases for west coast deep house label Seasons Recordings at the beginning of the decade. From there he remained a consistent presence with disco- and techno-influenced deep house for labels such Classic and Resopal Schallware, and most recently for Mike Shannon's Berlin-based Cynosure imprint. Johnson will headline Saturday's party, at a location which is yet to be revealed. The 12-hour ordeal will also feature DJs Molecule, Dragonlazer and John Walker.
