Oni Ayhun and Oneohtrix Point Never prepare to Bleed

The pair will be joined by Veronica Vasicka and Teengirl Fantasy to launch the new London party at XOYO next week.

BleeD Music, the new joint venture between London promoters Blogger's Delight and High Horse, will launch next Friday.

With the intention of "reinvigorating Friday nights in Shoreditch by transporting the crowd to an alien world," the first edition of BleeD will take up residence at new club space XOYO, with some of the leading names in leftfield club music. Oni Ayhun's experimental- and drone-influenced productions for the unequivocal OAR series have contributed some melodramatic flare to the techno landscape over the past two years, and combined with his infamous live theatrics, next Friday's show promises to be an engaging performance.

Brooklyn-based synth fetishist Daniel Lopatin, AKA Oneohtrix Point Never, has likewise seen his stock rise in 2010 with the release of his forth longplayer Returnal, and with a heavily touted collaboration with Antony Hegarty of Antony & The Jonson's. His emotive live show will be accompanied by a third live act, Teengirl Fantasy, the youthful American duo whose lo-fi creations combine 4/4 beats with cosmic, noise and pop influences.

Heading up the DJ contingency will be New Yorker Veronica Vasicka of cult re-issue imprint Minimal Wave. The label has mined the catalogues of obscure late '70s to early '80s synth music over the last five years, and Vasicka's set promises to include plenty of that idiosyncratic sound, as well electro, Italo disco and house. DJ support will be provided by local jocks Casper C, Benedict Bull and Andrew Thomson.

Tickets for BleeD can still be purchased here from RA.
