- The European DJ/producer will arrive for two dates in the country in mid November.
French tech house producer Shonky is scheduled to hit Australia next month, stopping in for sets in Perth and Sydney.
The producer has long been affiliated with Parisian label Freak n' Chic, an imprint that has been hosting reductionist house music since 2004. Since his debut back in 2005, Shonky has released several singles on the label to varying degrees of acclaim. His bass-oriented approach to production has meant that the bulk of his releases are particularly dance floor friendly, each exhibiting a similar kind of functionality. DJ-wise, 2010 has treated the producer nicely, seeing him spin at several high profile events throughout the European summer with slots at Rex Club, DC-10 and Bar25 all added to his résumé.
Shonky will be kicking his Australian visit with an slot at Ambar in Perth on November 12th. He'll then head east for an early slot at Sydney's Name This Bar the following night.
