- The collection features 17 unreleased tracks from the Berlin label.
Berlin-based label BPitch Control will release a compilation early next year called Werkschau, or "Showcase."
Now in its 12th year of operation, BPitch Control is one of the best known brands in German electronic music. Werkschau aims to give a comprehensive look at the label, with 17 previously unreleased tunes by core artists like Sascha Funke, Jahcoozi and Telefon Tel Aviv. Also included are Italian newcomers We Love, occasional Hercules & Love Affair vocalist Aerea Negrot and experimental duo AGF/Delay, AKA Antye Greie and Vladislav Delay. Superstar producer Paul Kalkbrenner contributes his first new tune since Berlin Calling, entitled "Plaetscher." Naturally, label founder Ellen Allien makes an appearance as well, with a new house track called "The Kiss." The compilation will be released on CD worldwide on the last day of January, and a couple of days earlier in Germany.
