- Though all of Brazil is sure to get loose come December 31st, the prospects for parties with a 4/4 pulse are heavily concentrated in Santa Catarina. Here's our summary of the highlights. Hometown hero Gui Boratto will play at Parador 12, joined by a pair of European DJs: Phonique from Berlin and Grant Nelson from the UK. Meanwhile, the Parador Beach Club plays host to 16 Bit Lolitas and a gaggle of local acts, including Ale Rauen and Daniel Rosenmann. Over at Shine, you can catch a set from big room jock Chris Lake, flanked by Brazilian DJ Southmen. If you're looking for something more hard-hitting and pop-infected, head to Venice Beach for a set from Belgian mash-up maestros 2 Many DJs.
