- The Ninja Tune mainstay has an album and an art installation in the works.
Amon Tobin will release his next album this May, entitled ISAM.
Though details of the project are still unclear, ISAM is part of a collaboration between Tobin and Saatchi Gallery artist Tessa Farmer, and will works as a companion to an art installation called ISAM: Control Over Nature. The record will be available in a few different formats, one of which comes with a hard cover book featuring photographs of the project and interviews with Tobin and Farmer. The Crypt Gallery in London will be showing the installation from May 26th through June 6th.
Like all of Tobin's albums to date, ISAM will come out on UK breaks establishment Ninja Tune. It will be his first official release since 2007's Foley Room. You can hear a short preview of the album on his Soundcloud page.
