  • Acclaimed house and disco outfit Hercules & Love Affair will touch down in London this month for a gig on January 19th. The show will take place less than two weeks before the release of Blue Songs, the group's highly anticipated second album on Moshi Moshi. Based on their performances over the past few months, attendees can expect songs from the new record mixed in with favorites from their widely-loved 2008 self-titled debut. For the current tour, the band's ever-evolving lineup consists of co-founders Andy Butler and Kim Ann Foxman, plus Sean J. Wright, Mark Pistel (formerly of Meat Beat Manifesto) and BPitch Control artist Aerea Negrot, all of whom appear on the new LP. Support will come from the DJ crew behind London's "queer party for everyone," Horse Meat Disco, and the show will take place at Heaven, a venue that's known for its gay parties when it's not hosting concerts.
