- Outlook have revealed the initial lineup for their 2011 festival, taking place in Croatia from September 1st-4th. The bill already reads like an exhaustive who's who of UK bass and all of its factions, plus some reggae, techno and disco thrown in for good measure. Highlights include Skream, Benga, Digital Mystikz, Ikonika, Scuba, Roska, Shackleton, Martyn, Pinch, Untold and MJ Cole. The Bug will play with Flowdan, and Kode9 with Spaceape. Autonomic will be represented by D-Bridge and Instra:mental, Night Slugs by Bok Bok, Girl Unit and L-Vis 1990, and Hessle Audio by Pangaea, Ben UFO and Ramadanman AKA Pearson Sound. On the dub and reggae tip, you've got Barrington Levy and David Rodigan. Pharoahe Monch will bring some American hip-hop to the party, and up-and-coming disco act Space Dimension Controller will drop in for a set as well. Outlook splits the action between boat parties and a land venue, which in this case is an old ruined fort that Frank Mitchell described as "a maze of five arenas including a huge open air courtyard closed in by 40 foot walls, a smaller dungeon and a circular ballroom." More acts will be announced in the weeks ahead.
