  • In a surprise announcement via their website earlier today, Radiohead unveiled details for their next album, King of Limbs, due out digitally this weekend. As with their last LP, In Rainbows, the record's delivery is anything but conventional: following the digital release this weekend, King of Limbs will be available as a "Newspaper Album" in May, which consists of two 10-inches, a CD, 625 "tiny pieces of artwork" and "many" pieces of large artwork, all bundled together in oxo-degradeable plastic. And while the group have ditched the tip jar approach they used for In Rainbows, there's still an innovative payment scheme in effect: you can shell out either £30.00 or £33.00 for the whole package (depending on if you go for WAV or mp3 files on the download), or buy just the digital download for either £6.00 or £9.00. Details on the tracklist are still forthcoming.
