  • Applications are now being accepted for the second edition of AKG's Scholarship of Sound, taking place in Berlin from July 30th through August 6th. The Scholarship of Sound is a series of workshops and mentoring sessions designed to help electronic musicians hone their skills and better their understanding of the music industry. Specifics on this summer's program have yet to be announced, but last year's highlights included a mastering tutorial with ~scape founder Stefan Betke, AKA Pole, an Ableton workshop with Adam Marshall and a discussion on artistic development with DJ, producer and Innervisions co-founder Dixon. Ten students will be selected in total, and applications are open to anyone who's fluent in English, 18 or older and living in the EU, Turkey or Russia. The scholarship includes flights to Berlin and a week's accommodation. Head over the AKG Scholarship of Sound's official site for more details on the application process.
