  • At the end of March, Adam X will re-release the debut album from his experimental project, ADMX-71. Adam X has been a force in techno since the late '90s. Aside from his own myriad productions, his Sonic Groove imprint has been in operation for more than a decade, releasing music from the likes of Kevin Saunderson, Blake Baxter and X's own brother, Frankie Bones. In the past few years, he moved from Brooklyn to Berlin and launched a new project: Traversable Wormhole, a heady techno guise that quickly achieved cult status among DJs and record connoisseurs. The upcoming album is called Luminous Vapors, and comprises 11 tracks that, as a press release puts it, work as a "chill out companion" to the Traversable Wormhole material. It was largely overlooked when it first came out in 2009, partly because it was available only as a limited edition CD on Hands Records. The album will now be available as a digital download through Sonic Groove. Tracklist 01. Inter Galaxy Transfer Station 02. Planets Aligned 03. The CC Line (R-10 Flats) 04. Indigenously Speaking 05.
