Auxetic celebrates five years with two day parties

- DJ Three, Argenis Brito and Masomenos join in the Detroit promoter's five-year anniversary, which begins this Sunday.
- Detroit promoter Auxetic will celebrate five years of operation with a pair of daytime events at Old Miami and TV Bar. Auxetic was started in March 2006 as a Sunday afternoon party called SunDayBeats. While extended events and afterhours have become part of the promoter's agenda, the focus has always remained on the daytime, with the dancing preferably done outside under the sun. The first party will be a SunDayBeats affair at Old Miami, featuring NYC's DJ Three, the Hallucination Limited boss and underground house music veteran. Part two of the celebration will be another daytime party next Saturday, March 19th at TV Bar. A collaboration with fellow Detroit promoter Red Channel, this event features a crew of local and national talent supporting two headliners: Cadenza artist Argenis Brito (performing live) and French tech-house duo Masomenos, who will perform a 4-hour live/DJ set.
