Basstheworld celebrates 6 years with Untold

- Berlin promoters Basstheworld will celebrate their sixth birthday on Friday 15th April. The bash is going down at moribund Berlin venue Maria, the club complex that has hosted most of Basstheworld's prior gatherings. In celebration of their sixth birthday, the crew behind the event has assembled a nice cross-section of names from the UK talent pool that includes Hemlock boss Untold, who usually brings a healthy array of bass music styles to the table. Joining him is the Berlin-based Emika, whose stock seems to have risen recently off the back of her work with Ninja Tune and Ostgut Ton. London's Deadboy is the other billed headliner. His standout 2010 track "If You Want Me" made RA's top 50 tracks of last year, although he's gained almost as much traction through his illicit re-workings of US r&b tunes that have yet to see the light of day. Mad Decent's Schlachthofbronx and local acts Symbiz Sound and Mackjiggah vs. DJ Maxximus complete the lineup.
