  • Geneva-based artist Gregor Schönborn, better known as Crowdpleaser, will release his first artist album this June. The self-titled full-length will also be Crowdpleaser's first release through Tiga's label, Turbo Recordings. As with his past productions on Drumpoet Community, the style is smooth deep house with live drum and bass guitar sounds, which lend the album an overarching organic feel. Vocal appearances from Afrobeat vocalist Wamian Kaid and Schönborn himself, and one track makes use of a lecutre on DMT trips by psychedelic specialist Terrence McKenna ("Jewel Self Dribbling Basketball"). "Nenekri" will come out as a single next month with remixes from Kalabrese and Ed Banger artist Mickey Moonlight among others. You can read more about the album in this interview with Crowdpleaser on Planet Turbo. Tracklist 01. Together We're Strong 02. Spinelli 03. Nenekri 04. Jewel Self Dribbling Basketball 05.
