- The Visionquest member mixes up his friends and label mates on the Berlin club's latest mix.
Lee Curtiss has mixed Watergate 08, due for release in July.
Curtiss is part of the most recent wave of DJs and producers to come out of Detroit, along with fellow Visionquest members Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Seth Troxler. Despite being a cornerstone of that crew, he continues to play out and release records on his own, including recent 12-inches on Culprit, Cityfox and Guy Gerber's Supplement Facts. On Watergate 08, he highlights a lot of new material by his friends and collaborators: Visionquest artists Footprintz and Tale of Us both make the cut, as do two tracks from Supplement Facts. Reeves and Crosson both contribute remixes. The mix will be Watergate's first this year, following Lee Jones' edition from last September.
