Wolf + Lamb takes on Soul Clap in Montreal

- Wolf + Lamb and Soul Clap will take their DJ-Kicks world tour to Montreal this weekend for a warehouse party on Saturday night. The two pairs of producers have grown in popularity over the past few years as their sound has caught on at home on the East Coast and beyond. Charles Levine and Eli Goldstein, AKA Soul Clap, were a linchpin of Boston's club scene for years. Their connection with Gadi Mizrahi and Zev Eisenberg of Wolf + Lamb, who have been throwing parties in Brooklyn for more than a decade, has yielded an ongoing stream of sexy, hip hop-inflected house that culminated in a collaborative DJ-Kicks mix on !K7 earlier this year. Since that mix CD's release, the four friends have been on tour DJing together around the world. For their night in Montreal, they'll be hosted by Speakeasy at the warehouse venue Espace Griffintown, with support coming from Montreal locals Duvall and Jonah's Ear.
