Webecome will host a special event next week, with two of techno's foremost female artists going head-to-head for the first time.
On Bastille Eve, Ellen Allien and Magda will play for the entire night at Paris' Espace Pierre Cardin. Both Berlin-based, they are two of electronic music's most recognisable names; Allien heads up the Bpitch Control collective, and alongside Magda's position as a core member of the Minus crew, she and label-mates Marc Houle and Troy Pierce have revived their own Items & Things imprint in recent months. As it's the first time Allien and Magda will play together, you may need to expect the unexpected, but the pair are sure to weave through techno, minimal, and punchy house throughout the night.
