DJ Harvey goes All Night Rong

- The UK disco don will play an all-night set in New York next Saturday.
- DJ Harvey will head to New York next weekend to play All Night Rong at Santos Party House. Ever since he gave up his life as a punk drummer in the '80s, Harvey's been mixing disco, house, obscure rock and whatever else strikes his fancy with a style that's entirely his own. Though he's more of a remixer than a producer, he's recently gotten back in the groove with new material on International Feel Recordings under the name Locussolus, which will be compiled together into an album due out next month. This party will be Harvey's only other stateside appearance aside from his opening set at Movement in Detroit this weekend. It will also mark his return to Santos after playing All Night Rong in February. The idea is obviously the same: Harvey will get the upstairs decks all to himself starting at 11pm, while Jason Strauss leads a local crew downstairs.
