  • UK house artist Ali Gibbs, better known as Nebraska, will release a new album called Displacement next month. Gibbs has been making records for the past 10 years or so, forging a sound that falls somewhere between deep house and disco. For most of this time he kept a low profile, releasing a 12-inch every few years and eventually an album, Mixed Up Music for Mixed Up People. In 2009 he made his debut on Rush Hour with Terrestrial Variations, an EP whose initial release date was called off when its original label, Butter, folded in 2003. The Dutch imprint has hosted both of Gibbs' records since then–A Weekend On My Own and Four For Four–and will be releasing his new LP. Displacement features all previously unreleased tracks by Gibbs. It will be followed later this summer by a CD version with selections from his back catalog alongside his the new productions. Details on that one are still forthcoming. Tracklist 01. Allahaba 02. Phtalo Blues 03. You & I 04. The Cruives 05. The Mountains 06. Aitch Aitch 07. Patina 08. Characteristics Rush Hour will release Displacement in July 2011.
