The two festivals will occur in the same day in the Netherlands.
The event presents a range of Dutch and international artists over six stages in Oostzaan on August 6th, including home grown superstar Voorn and fellow Dutchmen Kabale und Liebe, Steve Rachmad and Secret Cinema as well as a sizable German contingent that includes Gabriel Ananda, Gregor Tresher and Kollektiv Turmstrasse. Soul Clap, Nina Kraviz and Slam are also billed. Local talent of the future are set for two smaller stages, the Backyard and Garden, which are devoted to showcasing fresh, up-and-coming sounds. The day event runs from 12pm – midnight.
On the same day Dutch dance summer institution Dance Valley, the so-called Woodstock of Dance, will celebrate its 17th consecutive year. The more intimate Welcome to the Future accommodates 10,000 festival-goers whereas Dance Valley has a capacity of 50,000. Although, it remains trance-orientated at its core, the festival will welcome Radio Slave, Josh Wink, Layo & Bushwacka!, James Zabiela and more to the stage this year.
