  • Longstanding Sydney festival Homebake will return in December after a two-year hiatus. Homebake made its debut in 1996, before going on to be held on annually from 1998. It features an Australian-only roster each year. The 2011 event has been given a theme, "The Classic Edition," with a lineup to reflect it. Three of the country's most successful electronic acts, Cut Copy, Pnau and Gotye, have been locked in to appear, alongside the Melbourne-based indie pop five-piece Architecture in Helsinki. As per usual, rock and indie dominates the bill, with Nick Cave's Grinderman, Icehouse and Eskimo Joe all making an appearance. This time around, Homebake's set to take place throughout the afternoon and evening of December 3rd, at its usual home The Domain.
