- The Berlin-based DJ will release his second album through his own label, Sportclub.
Axel Bartsch will release a new album this October called Experiment Musik.
Bartsch has been putting out records since 1995 or so, first in a series of projects with Asem Shama (Digital Age, Raveraid, Vanguard) and later on his own. Since 2005 he's run Sportclub, the Berlin-based label that will release his new LP. Experiment Musik is his second album, following 2008's Kiss on Karmarouge. The record shows him crafting a series of mostly club-friendly, melodic tech house tracks, plus a few slo-mo house numbers. Two single extractions have been planned. The first, Wir Tanzen, drops on September 20th with remixes from David Labeij and Schäufler & Zovsky; the second, Prophetic Dreams, features remixes from AKA AKA and Swedish producer Axel Boman.
