  • TodaysArt 2011 will take place in Brussels and The Hague later this month. For the past six years, TodaysArt has brought forward-thinking visual and performing arts to venues around The Hague, from conventional spots like theatres and nightclubs to a downtown supermarket and the city hall's massive atrium. This year marks its debut in Brussels; exactly one week after the first round of events in The Hague, the festival will land in Brussel-Zuid, the city's largest railway station. Electronic artists dominate the lineup, especially those with an experimental edge: this year's bill includes Oni Ayhun, drone artist Raime, Raster Noton acts Senking and Kangding Ray, and Sasu Ripatti, both on his own as Luomo and with the Vladislav Delay Quartet. Some house and techno will be on offer as well, thanks to Peter Van Hoesen, Eli Verveine, Ancient Methods and Chloé among others. Todd Terje and diskJokke bring some Nordic disco vibes to the bill. Most artists will play in both cities. Head to the festival's official website for more details, including timetables.
