  • Hendrik Weber, AKA Pantha Du Prince, will bring his Bell Laboratory to Berlin this Thursday for a performance at Gallery Vittorio Manalese. The concert is the third in a series curated by Weber called Kunst als Klang, or "Art as Sound," previous editions of which played host to Efdemin, Chloe, nsi. and the Krautrock group Faust. For the final installment in the series, Weber has booked the Berlin debut of Pantha Du Prince & The Bell Laboratory, a performance he unveiled in Oslo at this year's Øyafestival (and that was documented in a recent RA feature). The night's other performance is equally avant-garde: techno and dub innovator Moritz von Oswald will team up with mastering extraordinaire Rashad Becker, of Dubplates & Mastering, for Single Note Project, a routine in which a single note is played on grand piano and heavily treated with an array of synthesizers and other analogue equipment.
