  • David Kennedy, AKA Pearson Sound AKA Ramadanman, will head to San Francisco next Saturday to play a Halloween party at Som Bar. Kennedy has become a prolific force in the UK's dubstep scene over the past few years, both as an artist and as one of the minds behind the Hessle Audio imprint. As Pearson Sound he released a record on the hotly-tipped Night Slugs label earlier in the year, and then curated an edition of the esteemed Fabriclive mix series. He also contributed to the recent remix package for Radiohead's album The King of Limbs. Meanwhile, Kennedy has created yet another project under the name Maurice Donovan, which continues a push into house-ier territory also seen on recent Hessle Audio releases. For next weekend's Lights Down Low party, Kennedy will be joined by Dirtybird artist Christian Martin. Anyone dressed up for Halloween will get a reduced price at the door.
