- The Bulgarian duo have a dreamy post-hip-hop album due out on Project: Mooncircle in December.
1000 Names will release a new album in December called Invisible Architect.
Made up of two artists who go by the names Casio and 99, 1000 Names is a duo from Sofia, Bulgaria who specialize in hazy hip-hop instrumentals, ala Clams Casino or the Brainfeeder crew. They've been making beats and DJing together since the late '90s, but first appeared on record just a few years ago. Invisible Architect is their third album, and their first on the German label Project: Mooncircle. According to a press release, it's a more intuitive work than their past releases, having taken inspiration from "unconscious moments that just happen during live shows or studio improvisations," hence the title.
