  • Together with director Adam Smith, The Chemical Brothers have prepared a live concert film called Don't Think, which will be screened around the world starting in January. Don't Think was filmed on location at Japan's Fuji Rock festival on July 31st, 2011. A long-time collaborator with The Chemical Brothers, Smith combines footage from 20 different perspectives with "avant-garde magic realist moments" in an attempt to best capture the famously psychedelic live act. "I wanted to capture what it is like to experience the show from right in the middle of the crowd as well as showing and combining the visuals featured in the show with the footage we captured on this one night," Smith Says, "to see how the music and visuals emotionally affect and connect with the audience." The film features the entirety of The Chemical Brother's headlining set in Dolby 7:1 surround sound. It will screen first on January 26th in 20 cinemas around the world, with a wider release to follow on February 6th. Head to the film's official website for details on where and when it's playing.
