Vince Watson will release his next album in March, entitled Every Soul Needs a Guide.
Born in Scotland and now based in Amsterdam, Watson has long been a steady source of emotionally charged techno. In addition to his own labels—Bio and Everysoul—he's appeared on seminal imprints like Tresor and Planet E, and released his last album, The eMotion Sequence, through one of techno's current leading lights, Delsin. Every Soul Needs a Guide comes more than five years after that record, and marks his seventh album overall. Its style will be familiar to fans of his past records, but with more excursions into downtempo and jazz-inflected styles.
