- Echocord will release the Greek dub techno veteran's next album in February.
Fluxion will release his next album, Traces, next month on Echocord.
Real name Konstantinos Soublis, Fluxion is a Greek dub techno artist whose career stretches back to the late '90s, when he put out his first 12-inches on one of techno's most respected underground labels: Chain Reaction, a follow-up to Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus' legendary Basic Channel imprint. He went quiet for most of the last decade, though as he told RA in 2010, he never really stopped making music. After resurfacing in 2009 on Resopal Schallware, he connected with Echocord, a Danish label whose sound is heavily indebted to the Basic Channel family of labels where Fluxion had his start. Traces features 10 previously unreleased tracks by Fluxion, plus a new vocal mix of "No Man is an Island," a 1970 reggae classic by the late Dennis Brown.
