  • Next Saturday, LA's Bottom Floor will celebrate its first birthday with deep house artist Boo Williams. The Chicago house veteran's appearance comes hot on the heels of the recent reissue of his 1996 album Home Town Chicago, which came out on Anotherday Records late last year. He should feel right at home at Bottom Floor: if the name doesn't give it away, then it's the bookings (past headliners include Kai Alce, Jus-Ed and Santiago Salazar) that reveal the party's penchant for all things deep. Prolific local artist John Tejada will make his fourth appearance at the series. Bottom Floor was originally based at Bar Pico and recently relocated to the Medusa Lounge, but things will move underground to a private downtown location for the upcoming party. As usual, founder and resident DJ Morgan Alexander will lead the local support.
