Scuba brings Sub:stance back to NYC

- Blkmarket Membership will host the next stateside edition of Sub:stance in Brooklyn on Saturday, March 10th. Sub:stance, a bass-centric party led by Scuba and Paul Spymania, has been a quarterly fixture at Berghain in Berlin over the past few years, and launched a New York residency with Blkmarket last summer. Techno veteran Luke Slater guests at the next edition. He'll be making up for a canceled NYC gig back in September, which would have come on the eve of his most recent album as Planetary Assault Systems, his primary outlet for tough techno productions. At the party next month he'll be DJing under his less prolific (and more dubby) L.B. Dub Corp alias. Also on the bill is Boddika, the UK DJ and producer who, aside from being half of the duo Instra:mental, just launched a vinyl-only label with Joy Orbison. Taimur from Blkmarket rounds out the night's lineup along with Scuba and Spymania. The party's location is TBA. In the meantime, advanced tickets can be found here on RA.
