Dirtybird fires up the BBQ in Miami

- Claude VonStroke will lead his flock to an all-day bash at Villa 221 next Thursday during WMC.
- Claude VonStroke and his Dirtybird crew will head to Miami next Thursday for an 11-hour daytime bash at Villa 221. It's the San Francisco label's first official party during WMC since 2009. Many of the label's core members will be on hand, including Worthy, Justin Martin, Christian Martin (playing as Leroy Peppers) and VonStroke himself. Dirtybird regulars Catz 'N Dogz and J.Phlip, along with two newer additions to the label, Eats Everything and Ardalan, will also play sets. UK artist Ben Westbeech (playing as Breach) and Justin Chernick round out the day's DJ lineup. Of course, it wouldn't be a proper Dirtybird day party without a bit of BBQ, so arrive early if you're hungry because the food is free while it lasts. And if that's not tempting enough, Phife Dawg (a founding member of A Tribe Called Quest) has just been confirmed for a special guest performance at the event.
