  • Berlin techno artist Phillip Sollmann, AKA Efdemin, is booked for three Australian shows at the end of this month. This will be Sollmann's first trip out to Australia, despite having made records and DJing professionally for more than a decade. Sollmann has two full-length albums on Dial Records under his belt, as well as a string of solo, collaborative and split 12-inches which have come out on imprints like Curle and liebe*detail. Equally known for his work behind the decks, Sollmann has held a residency at Berghain's Panorama Bar for a number of years and constantly travels around Europe performing at clubs and festivals. Sollmann's Australian debut will begin on March 29th at Sugar in Adelaide, presented and supported by In The Deep End. The following evening, Shrug and Techno Tuesday will be partying at Sydney's One22 which will feature locals Dave Stuart and Chris Honnery warming things up. The third and final show will be in Melbourne at The Liberty Social on Saturday the 31st of March. Out Of Focus have put together a bill that includes Sydney's Claire Morgan and Melbourne house DJ Louis McCoy. You can purchase tickets to the Sydney and Melbourne shows here on RA.
