A collection of California-based DJs will play the weekend-long party next month.
Strangers & Acquaintances are hosting the intimate gathering, which was previously known as the Wake & Bake Campout. It's taken place since 2008 at a private parcel of forested land near Yosemite National Park in Groveland, California, a three-hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area. This year more than three dozen acts will play across two stages (one of which will be "a faithful recreation of a legendary SF venue") from Friday to Sunday. Droog, the LA-based DJ trio and minds behind the Culprit label, are slated to play a four-hour set, and Culprit artist Clovis will also be on hand. A couple of artists from San Fransisco's Dirtybird label, Galen and Ardalan, will DJ.
Other highlights include SF locals Adnan Sharif from Forward, Mossmoss from As You Like It and Tyrel Williams, a Chicago native and former Smart Bar resident. Live sets will come from Jason Short and Blue Soul, and the S&A crew led by Steve Mostly will be out in force. Check out this cheeky promo video for more details.
