Christopher Rau plays in New York and Chicago

- The German house DJ has three US gigs this week.
- Christopher Rau will head stateside this week for gigs in New York and Chicago. Based in Hamburg, Rau has produced a grip of warmly-received house records over the past few years for labels like Smallville (which released his debut album Asper Clouds), Aim and Hypercolour. At the beginning of the year he also put out an EP on New York's Thema, and he'll join label boss Lenny Posso for a label night at National Underground this Friday. The two DJs will also play an in-store event at Halcyon early Wednesday evening. On Saturday, Rau will make his Chicago debut at Are We There Yet?, a secretly located all-night party. New York DJ Pat King and three Windy City locals including Nathan Drew Larsen will play at that one. RSVP for more details.
