  • Motorik will be hosting a party at Sydney's Club 77 to celebrate their first birthday this Friday, June 22nd. In the 12 months since the five founders came together to create the party brand, the all-local crew have hosted a dozen events and clocked up two releases on their newly formed record label of the same name. The heart of the collective is production duo The Finger Prince, ex-Lost Valentinos members CSMNT61 and long serving DJ and promoter ViVi, although the Motorik family extends to regularly include several other Sydney acts like Jensen Interceptor and Slow Blow. The party has been particularly noted for its tendency to migrate, often to interesting and unusual venues, as well as its consistent free entry policy and visually striking setup. This Friday's event will be headlined by Australia, a collaborative project by The Finger Prince, Light Year and Jensen Interceptor, who contributed the second release on Turbo's digital sub-label Twin Turbo back in 2011. They will be joined by the other Motorik founders, ViVi and CSMNT61, as well as Sydney production team Wordlife.
