50 Weapons will release the third edition of its Weapons of Choice compilation series this August.
Weapons of Choice #20-29 collects 10 highlights from the past year of releases on the Berlin-based label, which Modeselektor run alongside Monkeytown Records. Much like the label itself, its tracklist charts the middle ground between techno and bass music, with selections from artists like Shed, Addison Groove, Marcel Dettmann and Cosmin TRG. There will be one previously unreleased track as well: "Jumanji" by Benjamin Damage and Doc Daneeka. Since most of the original EPs are sold out in their vinyl editions (according to a press release), there will be a vinyl version of the compilation featuring eight of the ten tracks.
