- The Italian producer will release the second album on Prologue.
Italian-born producer Dino Sabatini will release Shaman's Path on Prologue this fall.
Sabatini will be familiar to dark techno fans. He's been making a career out of producing it for years, first for Elettronica Romana as part of Modern Heads and, lately, under his own name for Munich's Prologue. Hypnotic, droning 4/4 is largely the order of the day on Shaman's Path, the first solo album from Sabatini. (A press release claims that he's one of the artists "responsible for providing the well known Prologue sound aesthetic.") But while those familiar with the sound will know what to expect, Sabatini says that the album title is key to a deeper understanding of Shaman's Path: it's "his personal interpretation of the sounds of Africa." It will be released as a mixed CD, as well as digitally with the tracks available separately.
