The Dutchman's maiden full-length will be under his VC-118A moniker.
The Leeuwarden-based van Dijk has been releasing music since the late '00s, supplying labels like Meanwhile, Piece Communications and Field Records with minimalist dub techno and electro under a variety of aliases (Mohlao and Multicast Dynamics among them). To date, he's just put one record under his VC-118A moniker to wax. The forthcoming album will come via Ireland's Lunar Disko Records, a label that's spent the past few years playing host to a variety of house, techno and electro. International Airlines will be the first full-length released on Lunar Disko, and sees van Dijk stretch out across seven tracks that, according to the producer himself, "tell a story together about retro-futuristic airplanes, romantic air hovering, turbulent storms and aquatic sunsets."
