  • Carl Craig and Octave One will play Public Works in San Francisco on Saturday, October 29th. Both acts have careers in techno going back more than two decades, and both run similarly enduring imprints: Craig founded Planet E, which turned 20 last year, while Octave One have used 430 West to issue much of their own material. In San Francisco (where they'll be fresh from Seattle's Decibel Festival the night before) Craig will DJ, and Octave One will perform one of their hardware-heavy live sets. Mossmoss will handle supporting duties for the Motor City visitors, while P-Play of Honey Soundsystem heads up the night's program in the Loft.
