  • The Make Noise tour will bring Benji B and select guests to club around the UK this November. Make Noise is a self-described "electronic recycling tour" that aims to encourage the recycling and reuse of old electronic equipment, while also supporting local recording studios and other relevant projects in each regional stop. Attendees who bring an old or no longer useful device to the events will receive free admission, and for each one, £5 will be donated by the European Recycling Platform to local studios to go towards newer equipment. Benji B will headline every date of the tour, which launches in Belfast at Oh Yeah on November 6th with Hyperdub-affiliated group Ossie. November 13th will see a stop at The Bank in Bristol with DJ Die, followed by The Wire in Leeds with Kidnap Kid on the 20th. The final two shows will both feature Santigold's touring DJ Martelo, with Scottish duo Conquering Animal Sound completing the lineup at the November 22nd event at Sub Club in Glasgow. Greenmoney, Boiler Room's Nic Tasker and Kodiak round out the final party at Corsica studios in London on the 27th. Make Noise coincides with the launch of Recycled Versions, an online project that allows artists to share sounds, projects and general ideas with each other via social media. Some of the acts confirmed are Andrew Weatherall, DJ Die and Oris Jay, with others to come in the future.
