  • Traversable Wormhole will headline a party in San Francisco on November 30th. The event, a joint production between Hidden Measure and Kosmic Nacht, marks the project's debut in the Bay Area. Traversable Wormhole was started in 2009 as an anonymous and vinyl-only 12-inch series whose stripped-back techno caught the attention of prominent critics and DJs alike. It was later revealed (here on RA) to be a side project of Brooklyn-hailing techno veteran and Sonic Groove founder Adam Mitchell, who'se been a DJ and producer under the name Adam X for decades. The initial series of 12-inches resulted in a prolific re-release campaign on CLR, and Mitchell has been playing live as Traversable Wormhole ever since. Support will come from local techno DJs Dhyan Møller and Daniel Yanov, as well as Oakland duo Guidewire. Tickets for the party are available on RA. Mitchell also has Traversable Wormhole shows in Denver on November 1st and Pittsburgh on December 8th.
