- The London producer formerly known as Subeena will release her debut album in December.
Alis will release Hybrids in the Attic on December 12th.
Sabina Plamenova has been producing under the name Subeena since 2007, releasing colourful dubstep-compatible music on labels like Planet Mu and her own OPIT imprint. This year, however, she re-emerged as Alis, adding her own vocals to the equation. The soul-influenced first single "Twist The Rule" was the first taster, adding a poppier edge to her music. Her debut LP continues in this vein, combining vocal cuts with darker instrumentals influenced by the pounding pulse of techno. A short teaser for the album is available on Plamenova's SoundCloud.
