The Toronto promoter has announced a series of warehouse-style parties throughout March.
Mansion has revealed a new series of parties called Foundry, taking place in Toronto in March.
Touted by organisers as an "immersive, multi-sensory experience" and the first project of its kind in Toronto, Foundry will present eight shows at the recently renovated Black Box Theatre (now BLK BOX, equipped with a Funktion-One sound system). Beginning on March 1st and happening twice a weekend through to the end of the month, each event will be curated by a different entity, including several other Toronto promoters.
Curators include blogs I Love Bass Music and 92BPM, local label Idol Hanse and art director Colin Bergh. Toronto promoters breakandenter, Box Of Kittens, Evening Standard and techno crew How Does It Make You Feel have also programmed a night each.
Some of the choice headliners include LA screwed hip-hop champion Shlohmo, Detroit artists Juan Atkins, Omar-S and Andrés, Northern Irish men-of-the-moment Bicep and Manchester's Andy Stott. DC-based Dutchman Martyn will headline a 3024 showcase with Nautiluss and Kevin McPhee, and the series will end with Minneapolis techno DJ DVS1.
Tickets for the events are available at the Foundry promoter page.
